About Rally TrialsRally is
a sport involving both handler and dog teaming together to complete a course including 10 to 20 stations. The
dog is evaluated and scored by a judge. All dogs receiving a passing score earn a leg toward a title and can win
ribbons or prizes based on the score. Upon the completion of the required number of legs required for a specific title,
the AKC will issue a title to the dog. Each of the following titles is progressive and the level of the difficulty of
the course increases with each title. If you would like to learn more about Rally including the rules and regulations
please visit the AKC website. RKC EventsRKC offers
AKC sanctioned Rally events twice a year in March at the Tarheel Cluster Dog Show and in September at the Tarheel Labor Day
Cluster. Carol Polak is the Rally Chair, and manages these events.
